What is Individual Leadership and Ministry Coaching
and How Can it Benefit Me?
As a professional coach I am trained to work alongside you providing support, encouragement, challenge and accountability as you define and take action steps that will fulfill your needs and turn dreams - personal and/or professional - into reality. The power of the coaching relationship is that it provides a safe and confidential space for you to explore where you want to go and how you will get there, celebrating the joys of accomplishment and discovering ways to negotiate roadblocks. The art of coaching is my ability to listen intently and ask powerful questions that will help you find clarity and define purpose and identify what your next best steps forward might be.
Coaching conversations occur primarily online via Zoom. Most people find that the personal accountability inherent in sharing at a next coaching call helps to keep them on track as they work to meet their goals.
Coaching is not psychological counseling or any form of therapy; I trust that you will contract with a licensed professional in those areas if needed. Nor is coaching a form of consultation where you will be given steps to take to solve a problem. In the coaching relationship we will trust that you are whole, competent and resourceful – ready and able, with my support as your coach, to work toward the fulfillment of what you need and hope to achieve.
