GROUP MENTOR COACHING COVENANT
Welcome! We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with you as a Mentor Coaches and look forward to what you will learn during our time together. The following covenant is meant to provide you with necessary information to ensure our success. If you have any questions, please contact either of us at the email addresses above.
Purpose: The service that we will provide is a combination of group and individual Mentor coaching via the telephone or ‘face-to-face’ using an online Zoom account. Mentor coaching consists of listening to coaching sessions by the client (or coaching the Mentor Coach) and providing feedback, coaching and mentoring on the client’s coaching skills, as defined by the International Coach Federation with attention to the Core Competencies at levels appropriate to the client’s current and/or desired certification level. Coaching in this context consists of coaching the client for purposes of additional learning about the ACC and/or PCC level of competences. Mentor coaching is one tool to assist a client in preparing for application for ACC or PCC certification but does not guarantee certification nor does the Mentor coach’s assessment of a recorded coaching conversation mean that an ICF assessor may necessarily provide the same assessment. Our coaching relationship should in no way be construed as psychological counseling or any form of therapy. We trust that you will contract with a licensed professional in those areas if needed.
Confidentiality: Confidentiality is essential to our relationship and we will treat all information you share with us with the utmost respect and confidence. Occasionally either of us may engage a professional supervising coach and/or mentor coach to review cases (but not names) for our ongoing development as a coach. It is only within these strict parameters, or as required by law, that either of us would discuss particular coaching cases.
Client Focused: Throughout our coaching relationship, you can count on us to be fully present, helpful, and straightforward. You understand that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by you. Because coaching is client driven, ultimately you are responsible for creating your own results. We also recognize that the Holy Spirit is present in this coaching relationship which, in the most profound sense, makes this holy work.
Procedure: Call or click on the Zoom link at the time scheduled for each session.
Fee Arrangement: The fee for ten hours of Group Mentor Coaching (of which at least three hours will consist of individual Mentor Coaching) is $1200 prepaid. The fee for any extra individual Mentor Coaching sessions that a client might wish to schedule will be $120/hour. The fee for individual Mentor Coaching sessions for a client not enrolled in Group Mentor Coaching with us will be $150/hour.
Changes: If you need to re-schedule your call, please give us twenty-four hours notice if at all possible. If you must cancel a call, we’ll make it up. There may be times when we need to re-schedule a call as well and we will give you as much notice as possible.
Personal Data Privacy: We know that you care about how your personal data is used and shared and we take your privacy seriously. We may each keep a record of your name, address, phone number(s) and email address(es) in an encrypted, password protected computer document which is unique to you and on our password protected cell phones, and your name and email address on our encrypted, password protected coaching logs. We will never share personal data such as name, address, email address, phone number(s), church or business affiliation except, with your permission below, to the International Coach Federation as described below. We will keep a record of your name, email address, and phone number(s) indefinitely should we professionally need to contact you in the future.
Mentor Coach Client’s Protection of Their Clients’ Privacy: In accordance with ICF Guidelines, the client agrees to obtain a written authorization/release from any client that the client records for the purpose of sharing the recording with the Mentor coach for the coach client's own learning.
Agreement: Checking the button to agree to “Terms and Services” on the SetMore appointment booking site will indicate full understanding of and agreement with the information outlined herein.

give permission for Janice and/or Chip to share my name and email address with the International Coach Federation if for any step of their professional coaching accreditation process either is asked to do so to verify the number of coaching hours submitted. I understand that the ICF might contact me by email only to verify hours coached, will maintain my privacy, will not share my information with anyone else and will destroy this information six months after Janice’s accreditation is awarded. I understand that I may withdraw this permission at any time by sending an email to Janice Lee Fitzgerald and Chip Low via the email addresses above.
